As the country's top NFL teams are putting their bodies and minds
through the ultimate test of endurance, skill and strength, the same
goes for visuals artist ROONIE G. as he gears-up
for a jam-packed Super Bowl weekend in Arizona! See if you can
keep-up:
Super Bowl Weekend
DJ ROONIE G. was sought-out and invited to play the opening set for
none other than DIDDY on Thursday, January 31st for
what's sure to be a star-studded kick-off party for Super Bowl
weekend. Playing for Steve Levine, ROONIE has been commissioned
because of his discerning ability to rock a crowd. For those of you
who are lucky enough to score a hotel room and/or flights to AZ for
Super Bowl weekend, be sure to check-out ROONIE at DIDDY's party.
On Friday, February 1st, DJ ROONIE G. will play the official Super
Bowl party with
Ravidrums Live (featuring Ravidrums'
"People Of The Sun")
for
944 Magazine's
"Super Village," where they will warm-up the crowd for
WYCLEF JEAN. The show will include Ravidrums' live drum
performance complete with dancers in addition to ROONIE's
video-performance. Fans of ROONIE will be thrilled to read the
latest feature on him in the February issue of 944 Magazine (
www.944.com).
When savvy event planners have their choice of DJs, they frequently
turn to ROONIE for what the turntablist is able to do with audio
AND video. This night is sure to be a treat.
Since he doesn't require sleep -- ROONIE is a robot from the future,
after all -- ROONIE will go non-stop into Saturday, February 2nd,
when he will put a spell over the crowd before KID ROCK
takes the stage, wrapping-up Super Bowl weekend in AZ.
Party-goers who survive the hectic festivities will head back home
wondering how ROONIE does it all and still keeps
smiling.....clubbers will also notice that none of these three shows
will be the same, although they occur within the same weekend. The
reason is simple: ROONIE spends a great deal of time editing,
tweaking and customizing his sets to be specific to each show. This
is not child's play, although ROONIE sure makes it look easy!
NBA All Stars

Entertainment) in New Orleans for NBA "All Stars" weekend.

Mirage in Las Vegas on Saturdays, and his weekly residency at Saddle
Ranch in Los Angeles on Thursdays. On the East Coast, catch ROONIE
G. at The Borgata's MIXX nightclub in Atlantic City on February
23rd....and at Club Lava at the Turningstone Casino in Syracuse on
February 29th.
